‘Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, author of the famous The Leopard mixes artistic creation and autobiographical experience.
The short documentary is set in the real and fictional Donnafugata: Palma di Montechiaro, little town of his ancestors and Santa Margherita Belice place of his childhood memory.
These two places and the suggestion of Donnafugata are experienced through the lenses of a slow traveling and the text of Giuseppe Tomasi. Between memory and fiction, reality and art’

‘Tomasi di Lampedusa, autore del celebre romanzo Il Gattopardo, nelle sue opere ha sempre mescolato creazione letteraria ed esperienza biografica.
Ed è così che il breve documentario ripercorre le tappe della Donnafugata letteraria: l’odierna Palma di Montechiaro, paese dei Tomasi, e Santa Margherita Belice, luogo di memoria materna e dell’infanzia.
